A roll of film came back from the lab cloudy, pink, and gray, with marks that looked like fossils. The lab discarded the prints but kept the scans.
The lab kept the scans.
I corrected the color temperature, curves, and contrast. The resulting images reminded me of beaches, sand, fossils, and marks from another era.
